Matt’s a design research consultant helping companies understand their customers and employees so they can make better products, software, and services. In 2009, he founded 80 Watts, a user experience consultancy focused on research, training, and experience design. Recent projects include conducting research to improve B2B service design and communication, the employee experience for a global call center, and the patient experience of a genome testing service.
When he’s not working, he enjoys hiking, whiskey tasting, and exploring Atlanta’s delicious taco scene. Matt is also a co-founder and co-organizer of the User Research Atlanta professional organization.
Garren’s experience with the design process leads to identifying problems and developing creative solutions that serve a purpose. His process and creative thinking skills have allowed him to design and develop innovative solutions for his clients.
He has helped to create and develop applications and user experiences for organizations such as Bank of America, Wells Fargo, Lowe’s Home Improvement, Delta Airlines, and Duke Energy.
